Live Sound Systems
When specifying live sound systems you need to consider a number of factors. How big is the event? A sound system that will cater for 50 people in a pub is going to be a whole different animal to one that will cater for 5000 people at a festival. Live sound systems also require lots of extra kit: mics, mixing desks, direct input boxes and outboard gear. A small sound system may only consist of two full range loudspeakers with a separate amp; live sound systems will require additional speakers known as monitors so that the band can hear themselves.
At Igoe we stock a sound system for every function with live sound equipment or DJ equipment also available. For house parties, weddings or small events more often than not people just want to be able to use a playlist on their i-Pod or Laptop and run this through the PA.
