Great post. I didnt know that the Ohms break down. I run with JBL 8 ohms speakers I have four and I never knew the ohms break down like that when daisy chaining.

Absolutely EXCELLENT explanation – I’m in the process of trying to build up my own PA and all the websites I check have over complicated details of how the systems work. this is the best I have seen and I now feel a lot more confident about how to build the PA I need ! Top stuff mate !

Having asked Behringer the question as to why I cannot daisy chain my two Wharfedale Titan 8ohm speakers into one channel on my Europower PMP1000 deck and received no satisfactory response, I cast my net onto the web and came up with your excellent site. Many thanks for a lucid, non-techy expalnation as to why I CAN!
