Igoe pa were contracted to provide full audio tech support for the Bristol leg of filming of the UK Urban Music Awards.

Filming took place at the Carling Academy. This was like first rounds of the X factor but exclusively urban music, hip hop, rap and r&b etc.  Loads of kids turned up and although excrutiating at times there was some real talent on show. 

We supplied radio mics for performers and pannel.

We were booked to supply a big rig with lights and decks for a birthday party in Wales.

We put together a 6 k rig with 2 x 2000 watt bins and 2 x 1200 watt mid/tops all powered by Crown. For lights we built a truss with moonflowers scans and barrel scans smoke and a strobe.

DJ equipment was technics 1210’s and Pioneer 800’s with a A&H Xone 62 mixer.

Must have been a great party proper carnage when we cam to collect - sorry no pics we forgot !

The client was into his dub reggae and couldn’t stress enough that he wanted MASSES OF BASS in the pa.

Well … that’s what he got - we supplied a pair of 12″ full range top boxes sat on top of 2000 watt double 15″ HZ sub wooofers all powered by Crown. The Barton hill settlement venue got a lot more than they bargained for with this wedding party - i’m glad we didn’t have to pick up the pieces afterwards !! it was a night to remeber all told. The pa was seismic !!

We also supplied a pair of barrel scans and some moonflowers on a stand.

Igoe pa are simply the best choice in Bristol for quality and price in wedding discos as long as you don’t want a cheesy dj. We can supply a bespoke package on any scale. You bring the DJ or just plug in you iPod !

We supplied a 600 watt pa system for a small wedding reception at The Close, hotel in Tetbury.

Pair of Martin Audio F12 loudpseakers powered by Crown - the client’s best man had his own mixer and was using “Ableton” on his laptop.

We also provided a pair of VRX barrels and twisters on a stand for dancefloor lighting.

Students at the Badock Hall site of Bristol Uni were staging a production of Little Shop Of Horrors. They needed sound reniforcement for 6 vocalists in the lead singing roles.

We provided a rack of 6 senheiser EW receivers with headsets and belt pack transmitters.
