Igoe PA hire provides dry hire of sound and lighting equipment for a party in Shefield.

For sound we supplied 2 x Technics 1210 record decks, 2 x Pioneer CDJ1000′s & a Pioneer DJM600 mixer. For lights a UV cannon, martin 3000 watt strobe and a martin freakie lighting controller.

Igoe & co provide a pa sound system with mics, mixing desk & multi-core for a Spanish style street party outside “La Flamenca” restaurant in Bath.

Diary 23/09/07

We supplied two Fane colossus towers powered by a cs4000 and a Allen & Heath desk.

The client wanted to be able to play cd’s and also be able to have karaoke style performances on a small stage they had put up in the street.

We rigged up all the kit on the sunday morning. I think this could have been a very popular street party but, you guessed it, this one was badly rained off.

It was no fun pulling up the 50 meter multi-core that we had gaffered firmly to the pavement in the pouring rain.

Better luck next year.

For the front of house pa we stacked up two double 15″ (1000 Watt Eminence Kilomax) HZ subs with two double 15″ towers (600 Watt Fane Colossus 15b600) / 1″ Compresion Driver (Fane CD150) This was powered by two Peavey CS4000 Amps totaling 6.7 kW of power!

Monitoring was achieved through four 350 watt and two 500 watt wedges powered by two pv2600 amps and one cs4000.

Other sound equipment was an Allen & Heath GL2400 desk with ART EQ and DBX comp / Furman Gate & Lexicon effects.

The lighting rig comprised four NJD Datamoons and 10 short nose par 56 cans with gels – these where controlled via our Martin Freakie lighting console.

The stage was graced with performances from local talent most notably headline band “first degree burns” who thrilled the crowd with their refreshing brand of Ska Funk-Hop.

This was a great day and evening out for a lovely fluffy crowd. The organisers had a seemingly endless budget for fireworks ! they went on for ages – we hope they’ll ask us back for next year.

Igoe PA Hire provides lighting for a company event at the Bath & West show ground featuring the Phil Dando big band.

We where required to provide 8 x 300 watt par cans with colour gels, 4 x NJD datamoons a DMX controller and engineer.

This event was engineered by Ben.

I set up our equipment in the marquee and found that the only place for me to sit was actually on stage with the band – this was a bit of a novelty. I made sure to put on a great light show throughout the evening’s performance.

Phil Dando & co are a top draw Welsh big band outfit. I was genuinely bowled over by outstanding vocalists and an accomplished performance from the 20+ players in the line up. It felt like an honour to share the stage with them.

Igoe PA hire provides wedding disco equipment for a reception at the old mill in Bath.

For the PA system we supplied two of our classic 15″ full range cabs fitted with Fane drivers powered by a CS4000 amp. In addition we provided two power drive stands for disco lighting hung with VRX gladiators and NJD datamoons.

For the sound system we supplied 2 x 500 watt full range cabs powered by a pv2600 amp.

For disco lights we hung a pair of NJD Datamoons on a t-bar stand.

We also supplied DJ equipment in the form of a pair of Technics 1210′s and a DJM 600 mixer.
